Builders, take note – the dining space is being reinvented! Mentioned in our earlier article on buyer “wants” for 2019, a dining area is popular again, but with a twist. The former, closed off dining rooms with a formal feel are on the decline, and buyers want an updated, open, and functional room to share their meals. It is more important than ever that a home work with our living styles, and no one wants something that can’t function as a comfortable every day space for their family! The new eating space should feel Inclusive and inviting.
Whether this is in the form of an open kitchen with a large table to create a buffet on, or an open floor plan that allows for easy movement and socializing – these spaces make eating at home the new trend!
Thanks to @topinteriordesigner and Laura Button Helmick for the gorgeous white table display, Grant K. Gibson Interior Design Inc. for the beautiful image of the dining at @macrostiewinery, and @inc_home.
